The contract with DigiCert expired on 30.4.2020 and Sectigo was the winner of the tender organised by GÉANT, the association that covers these services for EDU in Europe (in our country through SANET). For this reason, the procedure for applying for a TLS certificate is modified as follows:

1. Apply for a certificate at the TCS Helpdesk in the TCS queue. The easiest way is probably by sending an email to "tcs@helpdesk.tuke.sk" with a subject containing the FQDN (for clarity).

2. The request must contain a Certificate Signing Request (CSR, the minimum required data is "C=SK, O=Technical University of Košice, CN=anything.tuke.sk"). It is recommended to put it directly in the body of the message (not as an attachment). It should also include "Subject Alternative Names (SAN)" if required (and not directly included in the CSR).

3. A link to download the signed certificate will be sent directly to the applicant's email address after processing.
