Department of Technical Equipment, Multimedia, Operations, and Dispatching
This department handles activities in the following areas:
Communication Infrastructure – Passive Layer
- Design, implementation, and operation of the optical and metallic infrastructure of the TUNET network in the main TUKE campus.
- Design, implementation, and operation of the CANET optical infrastructure (Cassoviensis Academic Network – the Košice academic computer network), which ensures network integration of TUKE sites located outside the main campus on Letná 9 (such as Grešákova, Mäsiarska, the Faculty of Aeronautics campus, and student dormitories on Jedlíkova).
