Identity Management System – IDM

Thousands of users rely on IT services at TUKE, which makes it essential to have a centralized identity management system. Currently, TUKE uses the MidPoint system developed by Evolveum.

Key Features and Capabilities

• IDM automatically creates, updates, and deletes identities based on a person’s employment or student status.
• It ensures security and access control across university systems.
• IDM manages data distributed to the Central Authentication System (CAS), ensuring individuals have access to the services they need.
• Users can manage their CAS password, as well as their Eduroam network password.
• IDM controls access to TUKE parking lots through the ramp system.
• Users can configure subscription preferences for university department newsletters based on their interests.
